East Ayrshire Youth Theatre

East Ayrshire Youth Theatre (EAYT) provides a service that is driven by excellence and access and provides young people between the ages of 5 and 18 years a means to learn through positive experience. EAYT provides a broad range of high quality theatre experiences in a positive and supportive environment so that young people can develop their skills not only in theatre and performance but also in terms of communication and creativity. On a weekly basis, over 100 young people from Kilmarnock and the surrounding areas take part in workshops that culminate in two musical theatre productions that take place in the Palace Theatre, Kilmarnock.

EAYT are delighted to announce the appointment of Craig Glover as the new Director of EAYT and Tabatha Fallance who is our new Assistant Director. Both Craig and Tabatha bring a wealth of experience to the project, having worked with professional theatre companies as well as developing work for young people’s theatre. Craig and Tabatha are excited to be working with EAYT's students to develop their adaptation of Oliver which will be performed at the Palace Theatre in November.

EAYT sessions take place in the Grand Hall, Kilmarnock, and run for three terms (which follow school term times). Each term will cost £35 for Mini EAYT (5-7 years) and £90 for the Junior (8-11 years) and Senior EAYT (12-18 years).

We currently have spaces available within our Mini EAYT group,  for further information or to enquire about joining EAYT then please contact us on 01563 554358 or via the EAYT Facebook page - www.facebook.comEastAyrshireYouthTheatre.
